Privacy Policy

Updated March 2026

At ClawBack, we take a radical stance: Your financial data belongs to you. We process documents purely for dispute resolution and never sell your data.

Data Ephemerality

All documents you upload to analyze valid claims (PDFs, images, emails) are temporarily processed by our OCR and LLM modules. Once the analysis is complete and a specific dollar amount or violation is evaluated, the raw source files are immediately purged from our servers. We do firmly believe in "Trust, but Delete."

Data Storage and Personalization

To deliver a personalized and functional experience, ClawBack collects and securely stores the following information:

  • Profile Information: We store your full name and email address (collected via Sign In with Apple or Email Login). We use this information strictly to auto-fill the sender details and signatures on your generated formal dispute letters, and to send you critical push notifications regarding claim updates.
  • Claim Metadata: We store the structured output of your analyzed claims (e.g., category, estimated value, law cited, and the AI-generated draft log) in your secure Claims Vault so you can review and track your disputes over time.

We never sell your profile information, email address, or claim metadata to third-party marketers, data brokers, or adversarial collection agencies.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not share your demographic, financial, or dispute data with any third-party marketing APIs, data brokers, or credit reporting agencies. Your account information is strictly utilized for subscription management and verifying your vault.

The letters generated by this application are kept strictly confidential within your Claims Vault on your personal device.
